Be Engaged
Loving One Another
Recognized biblically as a gift, hospitality invites treating others with kindness, and mirroring the grace that we have received in Christ. For some, hospitality may be experienced in a simple phone call, or a note of encouragement, perhaps even a conversation over a cup of coffee. For others, hospitality is experienced through the gift of food, with a meal received at the right moment.
At FPC we have a very active Care Committee (Congregational Care) who share the gift of hospitality in each of these ways as well as other ways. Would you consider exploring your gift for hospitality with the church? Here are 2 concrete ways for you to share or develop a gift for hospitality.
July Mission Focus: Fairmount
This July, First Presbyterian Church is once again partnering with Fairmount Elementary School to provide essential classroom supplies for teachers and students.
Education is a shared journey, and when churches, families, and neighborhoods work hand in hand, children flourish. Our support goes beyond pencils and paper. These small gifts relieve families of financial burdens, equip teachers with tools they rely on daily, and help students stay focused and encouraged in their learning. Fairmount Elementary has expressed deep gratitude for the continued support from FPC, and we are honored to serve in this way.
